 The answer to Life the Universe and Everything…is of course 42.

 This is a special edition Bay City Rumble Report.

For those of you who may not know, a dear friend of the Bay City community, Ever Dreamscape, passed away last week. Ever was one of the most active contributors to Bay City and knew just about everyone there.

The Bay City Rumble, though currently managed by me, was founded by Ever Dreamscape. In the old days, she was the one putting out notices on Wednesday nights and hosting races every Thursday for quite a long time.

My last memory of Ever "in person" was at Espresso Yourself at The Pen last month. She told us about her early life, where she lived, a house she built and lots of other "personal" stuff. My impression from her presentation was that she did have joy in her life. I also believe she brought joy to others' lives over the years.

It's interesting the effect a person can have on others. Even when they are not aware they are doing it. Ever made an impression on all of us with her kooky sense of humor, her involvement in virtually all things Bay City and her love for getting us all together for whatever event. These events scaled from a giant organized theme to doing something funny with a shark in front of a group for half an hour.

I want to put this in perspective. Considering the virtual world we all "live in", influence like this spans THE ENTIRE PLANET ladies and gentlemen. Ever Dreamscape has touched the lives of people around the world. We are not pixels. We are living breathing human beings with weaknesses and feelings with our fingers on a keyboard. Ever was one of those people and she has affected you. This is a good thing. You potentially affect people similarly. Remember that.

 

So, Ever, thank you for touching our lives in a positive way. And without further ado, here is the Rumble Report....ish.
